KANG Jinseok

Kang studied at the Korea National University of Arts and the Free University of Berlin with a focus on visual anthropology and film theory. He started out as a producer of documentaries before joining DMZ Intl. Documentary Film Festival in 2021 as a programmer.


KWON Woojung

Kwon Woojung started making documentaries in 2000. She received the Human Rights Film of the Year Award for her first feature-length documentary, Return to the Land (2004). Another documentary by Kwon, Earth’s Women (2009), which deals with the dreams and realities of three female farmers, won the BIFF Mecenat Award at the Busan Intl. Film Festival, the Grand Prize at the Seoul Independent Film Festival, and the Special Jury Prize at the Earth Vision Tokyo Environmental Film Festival. In 2020, Kwon’s autobiographical documentary Tiptoeing (2019) won the Grand Prize at the Persons with Disabilities Film Festival and was aired on EBS Docu Cinema.


KIM Youngwoo

Kim Youngwoo studied Visual Arts and Television at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. He served as a programmer for Asian cinema at the Busan International Film Festival until 2019, and is currently working as a programmer at the Seoul Independent Film Festival, focusing on international exchange for Korean cinema. He also works as the programmer for Asian cinema at the Red Sea International Film Festival, and serves as a program advisor and selection committee member for major international festivals such as the Locarno Film Festival and the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA).


KIM Jeongjoong

He produces historical and current affairs documentaries. He worked as the manager for the Documentary Three Days team and also served as the content production team manager at KBS and the Director of Programming and Production at the KBS Jeju Korean Broadcasting Branch Office. Additionally, he has participated in numerous international co-production projects as a co-producer and executive producer. Notably, he worked as the executive producer and commissioner for the CARE Project and TAP.


Diana EL JEIROUDI

Diana is a Syrian independent filmmaker and producer. In 2002, she co-founded ProAction Film in Damascus with her partner Orwa Nyrabia, and later trained in film production and distribution at INA/Sorbonne in France. Her short films Pot (2005) and Dolls, A Woman from Damascus (2008) screened internationally, while Republic of Silence (2021), her feature debut, premiered at the Venice Film Festival. El Jeiroudi also co-founded the Dox Box International Documentary Film Festival in Syria and later DOX BOX e.V., a non-profit supporting a new generation of Arab documentary filmmakers. She has served on juries at Cannes, IDFA, and One World Film Festival, and is a member of the Deutsche Filmakademie.


Mayu HIRANO

Mayu Hirano is the Director and Producer, an award-winning international filmmaker renowned for her work spanning decades in documentaries and factual programs. She served as a jury member for the International Emmy Awards. In 2021, she founded RITORNELLO FILMS, a production house specializing in impactful documentaries aimed at societal benefit. Known for her skill in portraying ordinary people within socially focused themes, she has garnered numerous accolades and awards throughout her career. She is also actively involved with Tokyo Docs, a global documentary forum that supports Japanese and Asian filmmakers in expanding their work internationally, including through international co-productions.


Sung MOON

Sung Moon has been active in international film festivals and the documentary industry forum, including the Busan IFF, Jeonju Project Market, and Docs Port Incheon, etc. She has worked as a representative for Latin America at the Korean Film Council and created the Buenos Aires Korean Film Festival in 2014. Moon has been working as a programmer for Jeonju IFF since 2019. Also, she edited books such as What Will Be of Cinema? (2021), Tsai Ming-Liang - Walker Series (2024), and Possible Cinemas (2025).


Mita SURI

Mita supervises the delivery of the Film Programme at Sheffield DocFest. She runs the annual Youth Jury programme and traineeships, and is responsible for external relations with filmmakers, national film institutes, and distributors. She also manages the submissions process and oversees DocFest’s year-round programming beyond the main festival.


PARK Bongnam

Park Bongnam has been working with domestic broadcasting stations since 1994, creating numerous television documentaries. In 2009, he won the NPS Mid-Length Documentary Award at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam for his film Iron Crows. Since 2019, he has been deeply researching trees and forests. His new documentary, 1980 Sabuk, which focuses on the “Sabuk Coal Mine Labor Struggle,” will be unveiled this autumn.


Brian HILL

Brian Hill is an award winning director of documentary and drama. He invented the genre of the documentary musical and he is always looking to explore new ways of telling documentary stories.


Brigid O'SHEA

Brigid is a documentary consultant helping filmmakers across the world reach their full potential. She also manages the Documentary Association of Europe, a 800+ members network of filmmakers and workers inside and outside of Europe.


Stephanie FUCHS

Stephanie Fuchs has been with Autlook Filmsales since 2014 and was appointed CEO in 2024. She oversees global licensing to theatrical distributors, broadcasters, and VOD platforms. A seasoned consultant, advisor, and panelist, she has also served on numerous international festival juries.


Stella VAN VOORST

Stella van Voorst is a documentary director, editor, and coach. Her films are distinguished by a strong visual and observational style. As an editor and coach, she collaborates with a wide range of filmmakers and artists.


Èric MOTJER

Born in Barcelona in 1988, he holds an MA in Documentary Cinema and Cinematography from ESCAC (University of Barcelona). He has worked extensively as a director and cinematographer in non-fiction, and collaborated with various film festivals and cultural events. He is the founder of Sabir

Studio, a company focused on non-fiction production and event services. From 2018 to 2023, he served as Artistic Director of the Manlleu Film Festival. In 2023, he joined the DocsBarcelona Film Festival as Head of Industry and Training, and since 2025, he also serves as its Artistic Co-Director.


LEE Dooil

Lee Dooil has been working as a producer and director at EBS since 1995. He has directed many shows such as Cinema Paradise, Short Film Theater, and EBS Youth Film Festival, and is currently introducing excellent documentaries from abroad to Korean audiences through Global Special Documentary.


LEE Changjae

In 2003, his feature film EDIT was invited to prestigious venues such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Leipzig International Film Festival, and the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival. His subsequent documentaries Between, On the Road, and Our President were invited to the Jeonju International Film Festival and the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, with each becoming the highest-grossing documentary of its respective year. Released in 2017, Our President attracted an audience of 1.85 million, an unprecedented record for a documentary film. He currently serves as the Director of the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film at Chung-Ang University.


JANG Kyungsoo

Kyungsoo JANG has been producing documentaries and crime shows for SBS for more than 30 years. Recently, he co-produced and directed a documentary about school bulling with French production company, which aired on Arte in 2025. He has won the Presidential Award at the Korean Broadcasting Awards, the Producer Award at the Korean Broadcasting Awards, the Achievement Award at the Korean Producer's Awards, and awards at the NewYork TV & Film Festival, Houston International Film Festival, and Shanghai TV Festival.


JANG Byungwon

He served as editor-in-chief of the weekly film magazine FILM2.0 and worked as a programmer for the JEONJU International Film Festival. Since 2022, he has been serving as a programmer for the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival. In addition to teaching students, he continues to write about cinema.


JEONG Jae-eun

Jeong Jae-eun debuted in 2001 with her film, Take Care of My Cat (2001). Set in the city of Incheon, this film deals with the friendship and growth of a group of 20 year-old women, and premiered in numerous locations including the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Hong Kong. While continuing to work on fiction films such as If You Were Me (2003), The Aggressives (2005), and Butterfly Sleep (2017), she produced a documentary on architecture: Talking Architect (2011), Talking

Architecture, City: Hall (2012), and Ecology in Concrete (2017), Cats’apartment (2020). Jeong is working on archiving multi-dimensional contents, such as the subjects forming the urban environment and space, the experience and memory of the space, and the history of the city, presenting them in the form of movies and exhibitions.


JO Jihoon

He worked as a programmer for Jeonju IFF and launched the Jeonju Project Market as a producer from 2001 to 2012. Since 2013, he has served as a Senior Programme Advisor for Warsaw FF, a founding member and producer of Docs Port Incheon, and a jury member at around 25 film festivals. In recent years, he has produced four fiction and documentary films. He is currently Vice Festival Director and Programmer of Muju Film Festival and Chief Editor of documentary webzine DOCKING.


JOO Hyunsook

Hyunsook has been making documentaries since 2003, with a consistent focus on the margins of society. Her early works explored issues of migration, labor, and women, while her more recent films, including Yellow Ribbon (2019) and Gray Zone (2024), trace how social disasters and their resulting traumas manifest in individual lives.


Jun HAMA

He is a head of Studio 2 at Fujitelevision Network Inc.Recipient of two Gold and one Bronze New York Festivals Awards and the Japan Film Critics Award for Best Documentary, she also serves as a decision maker at Hot Docs.


CHAE Rada

Rada is a director and producer at EBS. She directed documentaries such as Our Sole Earth, Why Do We Go to University?, and Where Is My Last Home?. Her work has earned awards like the 2025 Houston International Film Festival Gold Award and the Catholic Mass Communication Grand Prize.
