Synopsis


Cho Juni, former South Korean surfing national captain, found new purpose in Nazaré’s towering 20m waves. Without money or connections, he faced life-threatening challenges alone, earning support from locals and legends. After surviving near-drowning twice without jet skis or rescue teams, he now prepares for his third attempt. This documentary captures the fierce clash between human will and nature’s extremes.

This documentary follows  Cho Juni, former South Korean surfing captain, as he faces the massive waves of Nazaré, Portugal. After tough competition and struggles, he rediscovers life’s meaning through surfing. Despite two failed attempts, Cho prepares for a third, now with gear and a team, pursuing his true dream. His journey inspires young people battling burnout, showing courage and resilience. Cho’s heartfelt story crosses borders and languages, deeply resonating with audiences worldwide.
