Synopsis

An old man, no longer expected to “function” in society, says he feels free—because he no longer has to care about anything. A young filmmaker follows his quiet days, at first unable to understand his words. But through the lens, she begins to see that what we call “loss” may also be a form of “liberation.” This short documentary traces the fragile boundary between observation and empathy, capturing the simple truth of being. Ultimately, the camera becomes a mirror — revealing not only the old man’s world, but also the filmmaker’s own search for meaning.
