The tragic suicide of a freelance Director at one of South Korea’s main broadcast companies sparks a fight for improved workers rights for contractors led by his brother and a historic court victory against one company. But will it change anything?

  Synopsis

PD Lee, a dedicated TV director at CJB, struggled with low pay and was fired after asking for a raise. After losing a court battle, he tragically took his own life. His brother continues the fight, winning a legal case that leads to new labor laws. The film reveals secret broadcaster recordings and follows the brother’s efforts to support workers, while the lawyer becomes a congressman. Despite protests, industry-wide change remains limited, raising questions about the movement’s long-term success.
