Logline
When I discover that I have an aunt who 43 years ago disappeared without a trace, I decide to go find her.
Synopsis
When I see that my family still can't bring themselves to report the death of my aunt, who went missing 43 years ago, I decide to find her myself. In the process of finding her, I encounter family secrets and find a larger shadow behind her disappearance. What happened to my aunt in 1981? Will I ever find her?
Director's Statement
For 43 years, my family has suffered between despair that my aunt had died and hope that she hadn't. All can do for them was to find, record and remember her traces. I thought looking back on her life would help them let her go even if I couldn't find her. Perhaps this documentary will be the beginning of a long funeral to mourn for the deceased aunt.
