Synopsis

From mango farms in South Korea and the Philippines to an Arctic Research Station in Norway, this documentary takes you on a journey of curiosity that begins at the table. The severity of the climate crisis felt between the sweet flavors and aromas, cozy neighborhoods and nature scenery! International organizations and global companies are working hard to overcome this, but wicked desires of humankind are still hidden there. Can Mango's ominous drive really be stopped?

Director's Statement

People have become accustomed to the climate "crisis" .We strive to be carbon neutral, but we are becoming insensitive to the flood of news and statistics. Just before falling into the mannerism, let's experience the daily life of the imminent crisis from the equatortothepoles with the sense of a global citizen. Now we should be keenly aware of what kind of bad secrets are hidden behind the eco-friendly actions of international organizations and global companies. We need new perspectives and actions.

	Making media contents related to human rights, animal rights, and the environment. Won the Best Picture at Korea PD Awards.		Making documentaries and media contents about people and society, including KBS A Family-Beyond the Age of Isolation (2024) and EBS FM Long Run (2020-2021).
