Gong-soon-i, has been wallpapering for 18 years in a sweatshop for men.

Synopsis

The name of the woman who is sweating enough to see the bra strap and applying the wallpaper is Gong-soon. When her parents, who are deaf, did not register her birth, the village head gave her a name by pronouncing her mother's hometown of "Go-heung" on the spot. We look back on the life of Gong-soon, who never expressed that it was difficult even though the modifiers "Burberry's daughter", "Gong-soon-i", and "Divorce Woman" were attached.

Director's Statement

Gong-soon's life has a common victimized female narrative in modern Korean history : CODA(Children of deaf adult), Gong-soon-i, Blue-collar, Abortion, Divorce, etc. However, Gong-soon lived her life with a distinctive positive strength that allowed her to go on with her life, laughing off the mold the world had placed on her. The film follows Gong-soon's life as she raises a family through sweatshop labor.

	Yu is a fun-seeker who takes pleasure in watching movies.		Cosmopolitan who hates totalitarianism due to the influence of Kazuki Kaneshiro. He read My Cultural Heritage Exploration and explored the whole country and Japan, read Res Gestae Populi Romani and lived in Rome.
